2005 Tide Tables Deep Creek District
Cape Ninilchik Alaska

Russian Church Ninilckik AlaskaThe old Russian Orthodox Church was built in 1900 and overlooks the rustic village of Ninilchik. Mount Redoubt and Mount Iliamna, can be seen across Cook Inlet. Trout, salmon and halibut fishing are of angling interest. Shore fishing along Cook Inlet. The Ninilchik River and Deep Creek have trout and salmon. Local regulations restrict king salmon fishing in these rivers to Saturday, Sunday, and Monday beginning Memorial Day weekend. In August the silver salmon enter the rivers. Deep Creek is the public boat launch staging area for Halibut charters.

Tasty clams abound and may be captured on the beaches during the seasonal low tides. Clam Gulch State Recreation Area is just up the road.
